Not every console was a PlayStation or a Wii. Some companies took massive risks that didn’t exactly pay off. Remember the Power Glove? It looked like it was from the future but was nearly impossible to control. 🧤📺
Building on that, we have the Virtual Boy, Nintendo’s first attempt at VR. It only displayed games in bright red and black, which famously gave players headaches after just a few minutes of play.
Furthermore, let’s not forget the N-Gage, a phone that looked like a taco and required you to take the battery out just to change games. Or the Sega Dreamcast, which was ahead of its time with a built-in modem and a controller with its own screen! These failed experiments might seem funny now, but they paved the way for the high-tech consoles we love today.
